Ok Liz I"ve wtached AVP1 a lot of times and the knife used in the movie was a small knife the couldn"t even cut a spong ok, I know this cause I collect knives and I hunt 2 times a year.
And in PREDATORS that"s not a machete but a larg hunting knife 1st seen in the PREDATOR 1 Arnni had 1 Billy had 1 n so did the rest of the.
But the pred net and the chain are 2 different things and are for different uses
So note da larger knife is way sharper n way stronger then that little baby knife they had in AVP1

hello there-i"v done alot of research on the preditors cause i roll play star wars n adding them 2 it was quite a challenge!i"v found a lot of my info is from wikipedia-and the info i got was astounding,it cover thier home planet,biology n culture, n juet about everything else needed 2 bring them 2 life n an rpg.i like your site it offers info i dont have yet-keep up the good work!!

Predators is not released here yet (9 days to go... so long....) but by the looks of things, it"s totally f***ing awesome. Can"t wait! but will have to ;)


Fantom: watch AvP1, where a knife vs. the net equals a very broken knife. It kind of seems logical to me that a machete "just won"t cut it" -- see that pun? ;)

To settle the tongue issue:
in pred 2, you see a bit of snake like (presumably) tongue. That should be food for the predaphiles ;)

I have a question for all of you, which I"ve been wondering about: if Yautja are capable of having complex emotions (which they are to my opinion), does that mean they also love things? Not in the sense of "love to hunt" but love in the sense of friendship.

Seems like a shame to go on a forum just for one question....

Loved Predators, but i think the bad blood predators have less of a population, then the orignal predators. Also I think they have a hunting obsesion with humans.
